Impact & Legacy Youth Leadership Program
Impact & Legacy Youth Leadership Program (ILYLP) is a unique futuristic training and mentoring program where our vision is to develop a socially conscious and active generation of young people.
Our vision is to inspire, train and equip young people by giving them the tools, skills, strategies and blueprint to succeed in their lives.
This FREE 12 – week online leadership development program is for 12-18 years olds. The program provides comprehensive educational, leadership and entrepreneurial skill
Domestic Abuse Service
Works with the wider family to help foster an understanding of the impact of Domestic Abuse on their children’s wellbeing through:
- Intensive family support
- Conflict management
- Relationship support
- Advice and wellbeing services
Emotional Health & Wellbeing Services
At AFN, we understand the benefits of a good emotional health and wellbeing for individual and for the wider family as a whole. We therefore seek to support the community with the services that promote good emotional health and wellbeing also contributes to good physical health.
AFN Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service offer regular educational workshops with community groups and faith groups in conjunction with the NHS and other relevant agencies.
Training and Consultancy Services.
We offer Safeguarding training to Community groups and Faith groups.
The consultancy services also include Culturally Competence Training for professionals. The aim is to help professionals and agencies understand the “ The Culturally Specific Needs” of clients from Black African- Caribbean minority ethnic backgrounds and help meet their needs.
AFN Mentoring Support for Young People
Sessions can be provided on a 1:1 basis or within a group environment.
We work with individual families, organisations, schools, and commissioning parties to provide a service for young people with a variety of behaviour, social, emotional, and mental health issues.
We support young people with challenging behaviours and complex social and emotional issues who are at risk of offending by offering them one-on-one mentoring, to help them improve areas of their lives that put them at risk of offending.
Legacy Mentoring provides young people with the support they need to change things in their lives that are putting them at risk of offending. This could be anything from helping them to find a job or college course, to just being a trusted person to talk about their lived experiences and feelings.

Separated Parents Support and Contact Services
- Offering family orientated guidance to separated parents
- Seeking to minimise the impact on the children by helping parents to create a stable and nurturing environment for them
- The AFN Separated Parents Support Services support parents to understand separation from a child’s point of view and learn the fundamental principles of how to manage and reduce the impact of conflict on their children during and after separation
- The AFN organise Family Network Meetings, Family Group Conferences and Mediation Services with the aim of utilising support from the wider family, friends, and the community where appropriate, to offer support to separated parents, to minimise the impacts on the children and create stability for them.
- Our Contact Service also work with separated parents to promotes safe contact with their children. We support and facilitate both private contact arrangements and court ordered contact arrangements through CAFCASS.
- AFN also work with designated Local Authorities to undertake Independent Parenting Assessment and Special Guardianship Assessments.
