From February 17 to March 31, 2025, Impact and Legacy Youth Network, in partnership with Action Family Network and other community organisations, embarked on the Community Cohesion and Resilience Programme (CCRP) — a dynamic initiative aimed at strengthening unity, safety, and leadership among young people in Coventry.

Under the theme “Voices of Change: Inspiring Youth for a Safer Tomorrow,” the CCRP brought together young leaders, community advocates, and professionals to address key issues such as online safety, youth empowerment, and social inclusion. Through a series of interactive workshops, leadership training sessions, and community engagement projects, participants developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, and digital awareness — all essential for building resilient and cohesive neighbourhoods.

The project didn’t just teach — it transformed. Young participants became catalysts for positive change, fostering stronger relationships between communities while promoting empathy, understanding, and collective responsibility.

Spearheaded by Marthin Asamoah, Project Lead, the programme showcased the power of collaboration between local partners including Coventry City Council, Oasis Leadership Development, Settlement Support CIC, and others — proving that when communities unite, resilience grows, and safer tomorrows are built today.
